Return Policy for EK Interior Design
1. We strive for your satisfaction. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase, and we strive hard to meet this goal.
2. Cancellations. While we would like to have as generous a cancellation and return policy as possible, product implementation begins upon your order.
Orders maybe cancelled up to forty-eight (48) hours after the order is placed. Administrative/restocking fee of 20% of the orders total value will be charged. The balance will be refunded using the method of payment. Following 48 hours, orders can not be cancelled. Please be VERY sure and careful of what appears in your order confirmation because your ability to cancel such an order is not possible. Orders are not refundable and are not returnable.
To request a cancellation within 48 hours, please email us at khobungdesign@gmail.com If the cancellation is eligible, we will provide cancellation confirmation.
3. Returns. General returns and refunds are not possible. In the unlikely event that a product is received in a damaged condition, or with a manufacturers defect, or was not built according to the specifications of the order confirmation, rest assured that we will try our best to make it right.
To qualify for a damage-return you are exclusively responsible for inspecting each product delivered AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY AND BEFORE THE DRIVER HAS LEFT THE LOCATION making sure is in new and good condition. If you notice any issue you must record the damage at time of delivery, IN WRITING with the shipper (being noted on the delivery confirmation sheet you sign). Take pictures of any damage. You MUST then IMMEDIATELY contact EK Interior Design, LLC by email at khobungdesign@gmail.com
Depending on the severity of damage, and ONLY if you have complied with the foregoing steps, we will either repair or replace the item, as determined solely at our discretion. If you fail to make a note before the driver has left we can no longer go back to the shipper and your claim will be denied. Note: the product will NOT be returned with the delivery driver. We will inform you of the process and next-steps.
If the product was not built according to the order confirmation you MUST notify us WITHIN 24 hours of delivery, in writing by email, at khobungdesign@gmail.com and we will discuss the resolution as determined solely by us. If the product was built according to the order confirmation and/or the specifications on the website listed for that product, you agree that the no return policy stands. For example, in picking a stain, the stain color may end up being slightly different than you may expect, for reasons such as graining of wood, fabric lighting shades, not appearing on all computer monitors the same as variations occur from monitor to monitor, etc. As long as the proper color, components, and/or wood are used the product will be considered correct.
Return of designer items and furniture, when applicable, will be based on the manufacturers policy.
4. Additional notes of items specifically non returnable/non refundable. The following items are expressly non returnable and non refundable: items with normal characteristics that will not affect performance or look (such as natural variations, irregular distresses, sporadic oxidations, color fluctuations, etc), custom and/or personalized items, items you have assembled, disassembled items that were received assembled, items damaged after delivery, open box items, and one-of-a-kind items.
5. SUMMARY. In general, orders are NOT returnable or refundable, so BE SURE OF ORDER CORRECTNESS UPON YOUR CONFIRMATION. IN NO EVENT MAY A REQUEST FOR RETURN BE MADE MORE THAN 24 HOURS AFTER YOU RECEIVE DELIVERY.
